Listi yfir íslenska sveppi var nýlega gefinn út í Fjölritum Náttúrufræðistofnunar. Titill hans er Íslenskt sveppatal I. Smásveppir. Höfundar eru Helgi Hallgrímsson og Guðríður Gyða Eyjólfsdóttir, sveppafræðingar.  Hann nær yfir alla aðra sveppi en hina stærri kólfsveppi, samtals um 1530 tegundir. Verið er að vinna að sveppatali II, sem nær yfir stærri kólfsveppi, þar á meðal hattsveppi, ca. 550 tegundir. Útgefandi er Náttúrufræðistofnun Íslands, Reykjavík, 2004. Hægt er að panta prentað eintak með því að hafa samband við palina@ni.is .

Checklist of icelandic unlichenized fungi apart from the larger basidiomycetes, has recently been published by the Icelandic Institute of Natural History:  Helgi Hallgrímsson & Guðríður Gyða Eyjólfsdóttir: Checklist of Icelandic fungi I. Micromycetes. It is published in the series Fjölrit Náttúrufræðistofnunar 45. 1531 species are listed. The larger Basidiomycetes are not included, but they will be treated in a later volume. That part is in preparation and includes about 550 species. The price of printed version of this checklist is 1.400 Icelandic krónur and can be ordered by e-mail at the address palina@ni.is .
